What is Ijazah?
Certification of Mastery
An Ijazah certifies that a student has accurately memorized or recited the Quran according to the rules of Tajweed and under the guidance of a certified instructor.
Authorization to Teach
With an Ijazah, the recipient is qualified to teach others the proper way to recite or memorize the Quran
Chain of Transmission (Sanad)

- Identification of areas that require improvement before progressing towards Ijazah.
- Who Should Join: Students who have memorized a portion of the Quran and wish to be evaluated before starting advanced Ijazah training.
★ Advanced Quranic Recitation and Memorization Techniques
- Overview: Dive deeper into the complex rules of Tajweed for more precise recitation.
- Content:
- Detailed study of Tajweed rules such as Ikhfa, Idgham, Iqlab, and Qalqalah.
- Mastering the correct articulation points for more difficult letters.
- Applying rules in long verses and different contexts.

★ Ijazah Certification Program
- Overview: This is the final step where students work closely with their instructor to complete the requirements for an Ijazah and receive certification.
